Přemyslov SKI RESORT ranks among the most modern skiing centres in the Jeseníky region. It was built in 2006 – 2007 with financial participation of the Ministry for Regional Development of the Czech Republic and the European Union. The owner and operator of the resort is Desná a.s., Velké Losiny (www.desna-as.cz ). The resort is situated in Přemyslovské sedlo (Přemysl’s Gap) 760 – 960 metres above sea level and it can be reached via a secondary road from Loučná nad Desnou and Nové Losiny. Besides winter recreation, the resort is an ideal place for summer holiday. It comprises four ski slopes serviced with a four-seat chair lift and two ski lifts, a car park, a service facility with a restaurant, a snack bar, accommodation, a ski school, a ski rental, a ski service and a water reservoir for artificial snowing which is also used for swimming and fishing in summer. All ski slopes are artificially snowed with technical snow and regularly groomed with groomers. The blue ski slope has artificial illumination and it is the longest illuminated ski slope in Moravia with its 1 250 m. 3,5 and 10 km long cross-country skiing tracks starting at the upper chair lift station are machine-groomed every day.
